[Review] Holika Holika After Sheet Mask - Sauna

Time to review mask #3 of 4, the Holika Holika After Sheet Mask - Sauna, courtesy of Beauteque's Mask Marketplace launch. I won't be reviewing the last mask on here though. I feel like 5 posts on masks is overkill. More info on that later.

I had originally purchased this mask because I occasionally visit my gym's sauna, and thought it would interesting to test it out. But the weather has been so hot here in Texas, just getting in my car after it's been sitting outside for 8 hours feels like a sauna already. There actually may be something wrong with my car's A/C (getting it checked/fixed tomorrow), so I end up sweating...a lot. Which means it'll be a great time to test this out before I get the air fixed!

The Holika Holika After Mask Sheet - Sauna is a pore care sheet mask. It contains ingredients like applemint, chamomile, cucumber, and lime which helps tighten pores. After opening your pores in a sauna this helps to reduce the look of pores and keep your skin firm.
To Use:
After sauna, unfold mask and gently place on your face.
Leave on for about 15-20 minutes.
Once removed, lightly pat leftover product to help absorb onto skin.
Water, Glycerin, Alcohol, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Mentha Rotundifolia Leaf Extract, Castanea Crenata (Chestnut) Shell Extract, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Citrus Aurantifolia (Lime) Fruit Extract, Allantoin, Disodium EDTA, Fragrance, Sodium Hyaluronate, Trehalose
Quick Glance Impressions:
I've actually wanted to try out this line for a while now, as they have a variety of "Before" and "After" masks to suite your needs your random needs. They have ones for after studying, working out, after trips, and even after drinking. Their before masks include before going on a date, going to work, going to an interview, and going to bed. Since it's a pore sheet mask, it's meant to "minimize" the appearance of pores.

*This contains alcohol and looks like it's pretty high up on the list, so avoid if you know your skin doesn't agree to it or you just don't want to use anything with alcohol altogether.
When opening the mask package, I noticed that the mask was very soaked and there wasn't much essence leftover. I'm not one to care about how much essence is leftover in the packet because I really don't save it or anything like that.

It wasn't hard to unfold or apply, and my face immediately felt amazing when I had it on. It's been a long and hot day, so this was very cooling. I think it fit better on my face than the past two masks I tried out, especially when it came to the nose and chin areas. It wasn't dripping wet, so I was able to relax and read some blog posts while I had this on. It felt so nice, I didn't even realize that 45 minutes had pass by.

Once I removed it, my skin was looking bright! I actually had to move my head closer to the mirror because my pores really looked smaller. Seriously, I stared at my face for a good 5 minutes because I was shocked by the results. It didn't take long for my skin to absorb the remaining product and it didn't leave me feeling sticky or tacky.
Mask once it's dried up, not too thin or thick.

I'm not sure if its just been a long day, but I truly enjoyed this mask. It fit nicely on my face and it instantly made me feel refreshed. The feeling was shocking to me because the last two masks I tried out were a major bust. I sat here for awhile, thinking hard to find something I didn't like about it. But I can't find anything bad to say. I kept it on for about 45 minutes and once I removed it, I saw how bright my face was. Upon closer inspection, my pores really did look minimized. I'm thinking all the heat from the afternoon just opened everything up and this mask closed it back up? I mean the only complaint is that the results don't last until the next day, but nothing will "minimize" the appearance of pores for an extended period. I just felt pampered, so I'm happy. I'm really tempted to repurchase this...right now.

I recently made a new Instagram for my blog: @thewanderingkitsune
I've been wanting to create a blog Instagram for a while just because I know friends and family don't want to be seeing random reviews and some don't even know I have a blog, hehe. I know some of you already follow my personal IG, which is amazing because please know I love you all and consider your to be amazing friends even though it's just here through the interwebs >_< Anyways, I don't expect anyone to follow me twice and prefer people actually follow my personal one.
